"Premature birth in 2008": First Conference of the PremUp foundation

The PremUp foundation held its first Conference on 17 May 2008, at the Luxembourg Palace, on the theme of "Premature birth in 2008".
The senator Patricia Schillinger opened this conference whose main objective was to amalgamate the network.
200 people, all members of PremUp, attended. The program was designed to highlight the interconnection between research and care in perinatality and the development of technological tools by their industrial partners, thus showing the full extent of the network's comprehensiveness.
The speakers adapted their scientific presentations to a diverse audience comprising carers, nurses, paediatric nurses, established researchers, doctors, midwives, post-doctoral students, industrialists, and also financiers. The conference concluded with the launch of the internet site.
